Umairah Abdul Khalid
I am a first-year PhD student from La Trobe University and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute, working in the Cell Death and Survival Lab. My project entails running a screen where I knock out genes involved in autophagy, endocytic trafficking and cell death pathways in cancer cells to determine if they are involved in tumour immune evasion.
