CHIH-CHIANG CHAN 11th International Symposium on Autophagy 2025

CHIH-CHIANG CHAN

Chih-Chiang earned his Ph.D. and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. His research focuses on neurodegeneration. He primarily employs the fruit fly Drosophila as a model organism, focusing on the intricate roles of how lipid-modifying enzymes mediate membrane trafficking. His expertise also extends to modeling and investigating novel genetic variants linked to neurodegenerative disorders through the application of fly genetics and cellular models.
